Anime Guests at MCM Scotland Comic Con

MCM Scotland Comic Con, due to run on September 26 and 27 at the SECC Glasgow (details) has announced the following guests:
Anime director Kotomi Deai and animator Hiroshi Shimizu from Wit Studio, the company behind global megahit Attack on Titan, are to be special guests at MCM Scotland Comic Con when it returns to Glasgow's SECC later this month.Deai, who recently directed adventure comedy The Rolling Girls (pictured), and Shimizu, the series' director of animation, will be presenting a panel on the Saturday of the show. They will also be meeting fans and signing autographs across the whole Comic Con weekend.
Prior to helming The Rolling Girls, Kotomi Deai directed Silver Spoon's second season and was assistant director on the acclaimed Kids on the Slope. She has also worked on shows such as Sword Art Online, Samurai Champloo , Occult Academy and Robotics;Notes.
Meanwhile, Hiroshi Shimizu's art and animation credits cover a string of Ghibli classics including Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke and Only Yesterday, as well as The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Fullmetal Alchemist, Space Dandy, Michiko & Hatchin and FLCL.
