Yuzo Takada to Draw 3x3 Eyes 1-Shot Manga
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
This year's 10th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine announced on Monday that Yuzo Takada will draw a one-shot based on his 3x3 Eyes manga series in the magazine's next issue, which Kodansha will ship on February 9. Kodansha will publish the one-shot with a color opening page.
Takada launched the 3x3 Eyes: Genjū no Mori no Sōnansha (originally titled "Shin 3x3 Eyes") sequel manga — which features the same characters as the original — in Every Star and Kodansha's web comic label Young Magazine Kaizokuban in December.
Takada's 3x3 Eyes manga ran from 1987 to 2002, and Takeda published a one-shot in 2013. Every Star also published several installments of Takada's 3x3 Eyes Gaiden sequel series in Young Magazine Kaizokuban.
Dark Horse Comics published the first eight volumes of 3x3 Eyes in North America, and Geneon Entertainment licensed both OVA adaptations.
