Crunchyroll Adds Masahito Soda's The Tenth Prism Manga
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced a new simultaneous manga release and more video catalog titles at its Anime Central panel on Saturday. The company will add The Tenth Prism (Temprism) manga by Masahito Soda (Capeta). The series will launch in Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits magazine on Monday in Japan.
The story revolves around Tsunashi, the child of royalty who was left behind in the lost kingdom of Karan. He is expected by those around him to awaken his great powers that sleep within him in order to revive the kingdom — but rather than fighting, Tsunashi enjoys playing in the world of books. However, he must become serious soon, as a new army is threatening to invade Karan.
The series will launch on Crunchyroll at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.
The service is also adding the The Princess and the Pilot anime film and the Ring of Curse (Gomen nasai) and Ichi 1: Origin horror films. NIS America released The Princess and the Pilot on Blu-ray last year. Media Blaster's Tokyo Shock label released both Ring of Curse and Ichi 1: Origin on DVD in North America.
