Adult Swim, Cartoon Network Are #1 in Quarterly Rankings for Key Demographics

Adult Swim and Cartoon Network drew in top rankings among boys and adult males for the quarter. Adult Swim specifically had the second most-watched first quarter in its history among adults 18-34 and was the #1 network among adults 18-34 and 18-49 and men 18-34 and 18-49 in total day.

New episode premieres of Space Dandy grew average delivery ranging between two percent and 17 percent and new episodes of Bleach grew two percent and five percent among targeted demographics in March. Blue Exorcist also grew in viewers compared to last year while Black Lagoon grew average delivery by mostly double digits across all targeted adults and men, between eight percent and 65 percent.

For March, Adult Swim programming accounted for 18 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable among adults ages 18-34, and 12 of the top 50 with men ages 18-34, both more than any other network.

As a whole, Cartoon Network ranked #1 among boys age 9-14 during early primetime hours (7-9 p.m.) and was the #1 television network among boys 6-11 and 9-14 on Monday nights in March. New episodes of Pokémon the Series: XY grew between two percent and seven percent among kids age 2-11 and 6-11 compared to the previous Pokémo series last year.
