Monaca Composer Satoru Kousaki Goes on Hiatus Due to Health

The official Twitter account of MONACA-affiliated composer Satoru Kousaki and the official MONACA website announced on Monday that Kousaki is taking a hiatus due to his poor health. He is suspending new work for the time being to recuperate. The timeframe of his return to work is currently to be determined.
Kousaki contributed to the music — including background music and vocal songs — in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, Sekirei, Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens, Bakemonogatari, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Wagnaria!!, Oreimo, Star Driver, Hourou Musuko, A-Channel, The IDOLM@STER, Nisemonogatari, Natsume's Book of Friends, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Nekomonogatari (Black), Monogatari Series Second Season, Nisekoi, and Wake Up, Girls! anime. As of Monday, he is still listed in the credits for the upcoming Captain Earth anime.
Kousaki also worked on the music for Tekken, The IDOLM@STER, and other game franchises.
