Zelda: Hyrule Historia Tops Diamond's Book Sales in 2013

Diamond Comic Distributors announced its lists of the bestselling comics, graphic novels, and books for 2013 on Wednesday. Dark Horse Comics' The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia was Diamond's top-selling book for the year.
Pre-orders for the book ranked #1 on Amazon's Best Sellers list and topped BookScan's chart for week of February 3, selling nearly 60,000 copies in its first week. (Diamond, Amazon, and BookScan's charts each track sales records that the others do not track.) The book has also ranked #1 on the Wall Street Journal and New York Times bestseller lists. The publisher had about 400,000 copies of the book in print as of February 2013.
Diamond also noted Dark Horse pulled in a 5.17% retail dollar market share, gaining .36% over its 2012 total.
