Idol singer Amina Satō suddenly announced on Sunday that she will graduate from the AKB48 group to focus on her voice-acting aspirations. "Amina" made the announcement during a performance at the AKB48 Theater in Tokyo's Akihabara district.
At the age of 17, Satō made her performance debut as a fourth generation member of AKB48 in 2007. In the annual general elections that determine who will sing in AKB48's next release, she placed #8 in the first year, then #18, #18 again, #21, and most recently, #33.
