K: Days of Blue Spinoff Manga Launches Next Month

The November issue of Kodansha's Aria manga magazine announced on Saturday that artist Yui Kuroe will launch the spinoff manga K -Days of Blue- in the December issue on October 28. The story follows the daily life in the dorms of the police-based organization Scepter 4, also known as the Blue Clan.
Rei Rairaku, one of the members of GoRA, and artist Yui Kuroe ended the prequel manga K: Memory of Red in July. The story centered on the Red King Mikoto Suoh, leader of HOMRA.
GoRA and GoHands' K television anime series premiered last October. Viz Media streamed the anime in North America as it aired in Japan, and the company is also releasing the series on home video and streaming the series dubbed on Neon Alley. The anime project is also getting a film sequel in 2014.
The November issue of Aria also included a preview of the Attack on Titan prologue manga Shingeki no Kyojin Gaiden: Kuinaki Sentaku Prologue (Attack on Titan Side Story: A Choice with No Regrets Prologue) by artist Hikaru Suruga and and Nitroplus writer Gan Sunaaku. The full series will launch in the January issue on November 28.
