Vertical's To Terra, Andromeda Stories to Go Out of Print

North American publisher Vertical, Inc. stated on Monday that its manga titles by Keiko Takemiya will be forced out of print. Andromeda Stories will be pulled, regardless of Vertical's remaining in-house stock, on July 1. To Terra will be pulled by January 1 also. Vertical stated that Takemiya is terminating her contract with the publisher. Retailers can still sell their remaining inventories after those dates.
Vertical began publishing both series in 2007. The company stated that it would not pick up Takemiya's Kaze to Ki no Uta manga at Otakon in 2011.
