Joshiraku Comedy Manga's 5th Volume to Bundle Anime DVD

The limited edition of Kôji Kumeta and Yasu's fifth Joshiraku comedy manga volume will bundle an anime DVD next February. The DVD will reunite the staff and voice cast from the ongoing television series.
Both the manga and the anime follow the behind-the-scenes dressing-room conversations of a group of female (joshi) Japanese verbal show (rakugo) performers. The manga launched in the inaugural issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009.
Tsutomu Mizushima (Squid Girl, Haré+Guu) is directing the current television series at J.C. Staff, while Michiko Yokote (Squid Girl, Genshiken) is responsible for the series scripts. Masayoshi Tanaka (anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, Toradora!) is the character designer, Yoshikazu Iwanami (Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, Blood-C ) is the sound director, and Starchild Records is handling music production.
The series stars Ayane Sakura as Marii Buratei, Kotori Koiwai as Kigurumi Harōkitei, Nozomi Yamamoto as Tetora Bōhatei, Saori Gotō as Kukuru Anrakutei, and Yoshino Nanjō as Gankyō Kūrubiyūtei.
