Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's My Neighbor Totoro film aired on NTV on Friday, July 13 at 9:00 p.m. and earned an 18.3% rating.
The third live action film based on Shuho Sato's Umizaru coast guard manga, The Last Message Umizaru, aired on Fuji TV on Saturday, July 14 at 9:00 p.m. and earned an 11.6% rating.
Pokémon the Movie: Black - Victini and Reshiram aired on TV Tokyo on Thursday, July 12 at 7:00 p.m. and earned at 6.0% rating.
The second episode of the GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka live-action television series remake aired on Fuji TV on Tuesday, July 10 at 10:15 p.m. and earned a 13.3% rating.
