Sony, Sharp Report Record Annual Losses

Stock shares of Sony and Sharp fell on Wednesday after both Japanese electronics makers reported record annual losses the day before. Sony reported a loss of 520 billion yen (US$6.4 billion) for the year that ended on March 31, while Sharp reported a loss of 380 billion yen (US$4.7 billion).
