Live-action Yatterman on U.K. DVD/Blu-ray in March

SF comedy directed by Takashi Miike (Audition, Ichi the Killer).
The video label Eureka will release the live-action adaptation of the anime Yatterman, directed by Takashi Miike (Audition, Ichi the Killer, Zatoichi) on DVD/Blu-ray on March 26. The cast includes Arashi singer/actor Shō Sakurai (Honey and Clover) who plays Gan Takada, one half of the Yatterman superhero duo who fights the nefarious Dorombo gang.
The original anime was made by Tatsunoko Production in 1977, spun off from Time Bokan.
