Beez Entertainment to Sell Off Titles at London MCM Expo (Updated)
posted on by Andrew Osmond
Beez Entertainment has announced that it will be selling off its remaining old anime titles at the London MCM Expo at the end of October. The Beez label is currently reprinting its titles, following the destruction of its stock at the Pias/Sony Distribution Centre in Enfield this August. Beez said:
We'll be selling all that we have left during the re-print at MCM Expo - basically a chunk of Anime Legends (Gundam Seed Destiny, Escaflowne, Outlaw Star, Gundam 00 Season 1, Lucky Star) and The Girl Who Leapt Through Space 1-2, Soranowoto and a few misc remains if we're lucky!
The MCM Expo event will take place from October 28 to 30 at the Excel Centre in London's Docklands.
In addition, Beez mentioned on twitter that it has completed a "core reprint," comprising of fourteeen of its titles. The company also replied to a query from GundamFrance about its plans for Gundam titles. Beez said that it could not comment on Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer. However, it said that it was planning a release of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. (In the question, GundamFrance specified the film versions of the Zeta series; MVM had previously announced in May 2010 that it would release the compilation trilogy Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation.)
