The ticket service Pia and NEC BIGLOBE's Anime One service began streaming the first eight minutes from the fourth installment in Bones' six-film series Towa no Quon on Tuesday. The fourth film opened in Japan on September 10, and the next installment will open on November 5.
The first installment in the series opened in theaters on June 18 in Japan, and it was released on Blu-ray and DVD on August 26. The next two films followed in Japan on July 16 and August 13. The story of Towa no Quon follows a boy named Quon and others who suddenly wake up with supernatural powers.
The anime studio BONES is producing the film series as the last anime of Umanosuke Iida (Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Hellsing), the director who passed away last November. Takeshi Mori (Otaku no Video, Gunsmith Cats, Vandread) is serving as the "collaborative director" in Iida's place.
