Shonen Jump's Hisashi Sasaki to Oversee 4 Magazines

Hisashi Sasaki revealed on Tuesday that he "stepped aside" from his Editor-in-Chief post at Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine to become the deputy director of the publisher's Shonen Manga group. He now oversees four magazines: Weekly Shonen Jump, V Jump, Jump Square, and Saikyō Jump "which is scheduled to launch in December." Shueisha already published an issue of Saikyō Jump last December.
Sasaki appears in the Bakuman. manga and anime as himself, although Kenyuu Horiuchi voices him in the anime.
