California's FanimeCon Hosts Hangry & Angry Designer Gashicon

The Japanese pop culture convention FanimeCon announced on Thursday that illustrator Gashicon will appear as a Guest of Honor at the May 27-30 event in San Jose, California. Gashicon is the character designer of Hangry and Angry, the cat mascots for a brand of Harajuku fashion stores of the same name from Hitomi Yoshizawa (Hangry) and Rika Ishikawa (Angry).
Gashicon will be hosting a hANGRY&ANGRY fashion show Saturday, May 28, and she will provide style tips at the hANGRY&ANGRY clothing booth throughout the extended Memorial Day weekend.
Gashicon joins a number of previously announced guests such as musical guests Yūya Matsushita and FLOW; voice actor Tohru Furuya; anime directors Seiji Mizushima and Takahiro Yoshimatsu; manga artist Ryusuke Hamamoto and authors Gilles Poitras and Ric Meyers.
