Japan's Animation DVD Ranking, October 11-17 (Part 1)

The special edition of Nodame Cantabile Saishū Gakushō Kōhen (Nodame Cantabile: The Final Movement Part II), the second of two live-action movies based on Tomoko Ninomiya's Nodame Cantabile romantic comedy manga, rose from #2 to #1 with 8,683 copies sold. After two weeks, it has sold a total of 53,719. The standard edition fell from #7 to #8 with 4,562 more copies and a total of 16,406.
The limited complete pressing of Masaaki Taniguchi's live-action film reimagining of Yasutaka Tsutsui's The Girl Who Leapt Through Time novel debuted at #7 with 4,688 copies. The standard edition moved 2,094 copies to land at #17.
My Darling is a Foreigner, the live-action film adaptation of Saori Oguri's 2002 autobiographical Darling wa Gaikokujin essay manga, dropped from #12 to #25 in its second week. It sold 1,685 copies to add its total of 6,027.
The Young Magazine DVD for AKB48 member Tomomi Itano returned to the chart at #30. It added 1,494 more copies to its total of 21,897.
