4-panel high school gag comedy from Doctor Chichibuyama's Keiichi Tanaka
Late last month, the Japanese content agency Dopamin published Keiichi Tanaka's Minari no Seishun four-panel gag comedy manga in English on Google's Android Market for mobile devices. The first collection of 20 manga strips follows the "raunchy" everyday life of Minari, a high school girl who happens to be married. Tanaka is best known for Doctor Chichibuyama, another four-panel gag manga which was adapted into a 1988 television anime series.
The Minari no Seishun manga was translated by jaPRESS (Town of Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms), the company co-founded by Otaku USA Editor-in-Chief Patrick Macias and art director/international coordinator Izumi Evers.
