Anime Expo Confirms: No SPJA Awards Ceremony for 2010

Anime Expo has confirmed with ANN that there will be no SPJA Industry Awards ceremony at the 2010 convention as the program is being revamped "to feature a bigger, better, and more fan-oriented Industry Awards Ceremony."
The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation has held the SPJA Industry Awards since the organization's inception in 1992. Nominations have typically been open for members of the industry to submit, with the final awards decided by popular fan vote.
