Blood 2002's Benkyo Tamaoki Launches New Comedy Manga

Blood: The Last Vampire 2002 manga creator Benkyo Tamaoki launched a new manga called Kanojo no Hitorigurashi (A Woman's Single Life) in the October issue of Monthly Comic Birz magazine on Saturday. The comedy follows the life of Rika Koshimizu, a 27-year-old woman with no boyfriend or money. Viz Media published Tamaoki's Blood: The Last Vampire 2002 and Editor Woman manga, while Media Blasters' Kitty Media adult label released the Office Affairs anime adaptation of Tamaoki's Mechiku story.
Relative newcomer Masahiko Aoki launched his Orange Star volleyball team manga in the same Monthly Comic Birz issue, and Chizu Kohashi will launch a manga about the sport of curling called Sweep!! in the next issue on September 30.
