Someday's Dreamers' Yoshizuki Launches New Manga
posted on by Egan Loo
Someday's Dreamers artist Kumichi Yoshizuki and Kurozuka artist Takashi Noguchi are both launching new manga serializations in the April issue of Shueisha's bimonthly Oh Super Jump seinen magazine on March 17. Kimi to Boku no Ashiato ~Time Travel Kasuga Kenkyūsho~ (Your and My Footprints: The Time Travel Kasuga Laboratory) time-traveling romance will start a regular series of short, standalone stories from Yoshizuki. Yoshizuki had been drawing Kimi to Boku no Ashiato stories in Oh Super Jump on an irregular schedule before, but he is now committing to drawing one in every issue.
Noguchi's Sanctuary (no relation to Sho Fumimura and Ryōichi Ikegami's manga of the same name) is based on an original historical story by award-winning writer Tow Ubukata (Le Chevalier D'Eon, Pilgrim Jäger, Mardock Scramble). The story is set in the era of the Shinsengumi, the legendary but feared force that maintained law and order during the final years of the Tokugawa shogunate.
Tokyopop published the Someday's Dreamers manga in North America, while Del Rey and Media Blasters published Tow Ubukata's Le Chevalier D'Eon and Pilgrim Jäger manga, respectively.
