Japanese Animation DVD Ranking, February 3-9

Yukihiko Tsutsumi's first live-action film based on Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys suspense manga rose from #5 to #3 in its second week on Oricon's weekly DVD sales chart. It sold 22,238 more copies to add to its total of 74,652. The deluxe edition (pictured at right) of the movie fell from #8 to #14 with 4,710 more copies sold and a total of 19,905. Daikessen! Super Ultra 8 Kyōdai, Takeshi Yagi's newest entry in the Ultraman franchise, sold 3,121 more copies of its standard edition DVD to add to its total of 22,169. It rose from #28 to #21.
