Yatterman Trailer, 2nd Kamui Gaiden Teaser Streamed

The official website for Takashi Miike's live-action film remake of the Yatterman anime has begun streaming a 110-second full trailer. (In the linked page, select the fourth red button from the left.) Shō Sakurai (Honey and Clover) stars as Gan Takada, one half of the Yatterman superhero duo who fights the nefarious Dorombo gang. The science-fiction comedy is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on March 7, but Miike and Sakurai will host its world premiere at the New York Comic Con on February 6.
The website for Yōichi Sai's (Choi Yang-il's) live-action film based on Sanpei Shirato's Kamui Gaiden ninja manga has posted its second 41-second teaser trailer on Thursday. Ken'ichi Matsuyama (Death Note movies' L, Detroit Metal City's Sōichi/Krauser II) stars in the title role, and Kankurō Kudō (Ping Pong, Ikebukuro West Gate Park) writes the screenplay. The film will open in Japan on September 19.
