Japanese Comic Ranking, September 2–8

Oricon Book Ranking has announced on Thursday that the September 4 release of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga volume 51 has sold an estimated 1,029,249 copies in one week. Volume 50 also sold one million copies in its first week in June. In all, Shueisha has printed 140 million copies of One Piece manga volumes so far. Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto volume 43 also sold over 1 million copies after its July 4 release, but it took one month to reach that mark.
