Media Blasters Adds Kishi's Maka-Maka Color Yuri Manga
posted on by Egan Loo
The anime and manga distributor Media Blasters has confirmed that it has licensed Torajirou Kishi's Maka-Maka yuri manga. The manga shows short vignettes in the lives of Jun and Nene, two female friends with benefits. Managing Editor Frank Pannone emphasized that his company's release will reproduce the Japanese edition's features, including the full-color pages for the entire work, dust jacket, "belly band" (the wraparound jacket band or obi), and a miniature poster as a trifold insert. In the original Japanese edition of this manga, the half-B5-sized volumes are larger than the typical manga volume, and their jackets can be flipped over to reveal a nude version of the cover art.
Kishi also created the Colorful manga, which inspired the anime of the same name that ADV Films released in North America.
