Amuri in Star Ocean DVD Commercials Streamed
posted on by Egan Loo
The official Japanese website of the Amuri in Star Ocean anime series (no relation to the Star Ocean game franchise) has posted television commercials for the first DVD. There is a science-fiction version (high or low bandwidth) and a moe version (high or low bandwidth) of the commercials. An earlier promo video is also still available.
The story revolves around three girls who protect the solar station that shields Earth, and the mysterious entity threatening humanity. This "super-dimensional original science-fiction anime" was written and created by director Yoshitomo Yonetani (Betterman, Brigadoon, GaoGaiGar: King of Braves) with music by Mina Kubota (Kannazuki no Miko, Shattered Angels, Kaleido Star). It will be the first anime designed by MA@YA, a 3D computer graphics artist known for modeling female characters. New York-Tokyo screened the anime at this year's New York Comic Con a month after it premiered in Japan.
