Heart no Kuni no Alice Game Gets Anime Video Project
posted on by Egan Loo
QuinRose's female-oriented Heart no Kuni no Alice - Wonderful Wonder World romance adventure game will be adapted into an anime video project that is scheduled for a November release. The game re-imagines Lewis Carroll's classic fantasy novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with bishōnen characters and added romance. (The game's Japanese title is a wordplay on that novel's Japanese title, except it replaces "Fushigi/Wonder" with "Heart.") The game first shipped for Microsoft Windows in 2007, but the Prototype company is porting it to the Sony PlayStation 2 game console in August with new computer graphics and new story elements. Yukiko Uozumi has already adapted the game into two novels this year.
Nippon Animation adapted the original novel into an Alice in Wonderland television anime series that ran from 1983 to 1984.
