Ashita no Joe, Black Jack's Sound Director Sakonjo Dies

Hiroshi Sakonjo, the sound director of Ashita no Joe, Black Jack The Movie, and several other classic anime, died of pseudomembranous enteritis on March 10. He was 76. He is survived by his wife, voice actress Miyoko Asō (Ranma 1/2's Cologne, Fullmetal Alchemist's Pinako Rockbell).
