YouTube Hosts Gonzo News Show, Kadokawa Episodes

G.D.H., the parent company of the Gonzo anime studio, has announced that it has launched the online Gon Tube show on Google's YouYube video-sharing service on Friday. The weekly Japanese show is hosted by Nana Kana, the voice actress duo of Nana Inoue (Majikano's Rika, Suteki Tantei Labyrinth's Minoru) and Kanako Sakai (Majikano's Chiaki, Kaze no Stigma's Ayumi). Although Gon Tube's first episode contains little animation, G.D.H. has said that it will eventually include footage from new titles. The program joins about two dozen other videos — mostly promotional videos of five minutes or less — in the Gonzo Doga channel.
The Kadokawa multimedia publisher has also opened a Japanese channel on YouTube, and last week, the Kadokawa Anime Channel added the first full episodes of Full Metal Panic! and Mushi-Uta. Althought there are no geographical restrictions on viewers, the episodes are in Japanese with no foreign translations. The channel also has almost three dozen promotional videos of various anime projects. ADV Films released Full Metal Panic! in North America.
