Nodame Cantabile 1, Manabi Straight! 1 debut at #1, #3
Fans picked up the limited first edition of Nodame Cantabile—one of the few recent television anime aimed at women—with its "moving" multi-frame cover art gimmick of heroine Noda playing the piano. Likewise, Manabi Straight! lured people to the school comedy's first limited edition disc by dangling its bonus desktop accessory and mini-game CD-ROM. The latest volumes of Inukami! and One Piece round out this week's new entries.
