Gaia gains 8.3 Million Dollars

Gaia Interactive has raised 8.3 Million dollars worth of venture capital, reported to be from Benchmark Capital and Redpoint Ventures. Since 2003 Gaia Online has gained over 4 million users and 600 million active posts and has become well known for it's anime style avatars and online rpg environment.
