Shogakukan Introduces Light Novel Series in Japan

Shogakukan has announced it will start two new 'light novel' libraries, Gagaga Bunko for boys and Lululu Bunko for girls, in Spring 2007.
As part of the project, Shogakukan is also looking for new talent via the Shogakukan Light Novel Grand Prize contest. The winner will get two million yen and have his or her manuscript published in one of the two light novel series. The judges will include Tow Ubukata, Kōji Morimoto, Ira Ishida, and Chie Shinohara.
