China Could Ban Foreign Animation

According to the Shenzhen Daily newspaper, officials at the Chinese State Administration of Radio, Film and Television recently said that they could ban foreign-made cartoons from prime time television once Chinese animation reaches a certain level. The ban would be to protect and encourage China's domestic animation market.
