Bandai's latest Gundam offering for the Japanese PS2, Mobile Suit Gundam: One Year War, has seen significantly lower sales than were projected by Bandai.

Although One Year War was the top selling game during the week it was released, sales paled in comparisson to Federation Vs. Zeon, the top selling Gundam game of all time, which sold 348,242 copies during the first week of its release and went on to sell over 800,000 copies in Japan
Bandai shipped 400,000 copies of One Year War and stated that they expected to eventually sell one million copies of the game.
