Japanese distributor considering North American release
Wright Staff Co., Ltd. of Japan is looking for a few good anime fans--at least 1,500--who would be willing to purchase a newly remastered, English-subtitled release of Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The series, which will soon be released in Japan, consists of 47 DVDs for a price of about US$1,925.
Wright Staff has stated that a response count that exceeds fifteen hundred will "convince [them] of the viability" of a US release. The survey sign-up form is available from the production company's website.
