BAAF to send Cosplay winner to the Tokyo International Anime Fair in 2004

The Big Apple Anime Fest (BAAF) today announced that Japan Airlines (JAL) will award a round-trip ticket to Tokyo as the grand prize at Cosplay on Broadway™ during the Big Apple Anime Fest, held in Times Square from August 29th ~ 31st. The winner will attend the Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) 2004 as a guest of BAAF and JAL.
Mr. Hiroki Miyazaki, Director of Passenger Marketing at JAL Eastern Region office, commented, "We at Japan Airlines welcome all the anime and manga fans at Big Apple Anime Fest in New York. It is very nice to see that as more people, regardless of age, love anime and manga, the more Japanese culture is exposed in the public in the U.S. It is our pleasure to assist in increasing global awareness of the one aspect of Japanese culture."
