NuTech Hentai Sneak peak

NuTech Digital didn't have any official presence at Anime Expo, but they did drop by to show ANN an exclusive preview of their upcoming Hentai titles and to let us know when they will be on the market.
NuTech VP, Joe Giarmo showed us parts of Shizaku volume 1 and Shizaku replay, both featuring adult stars Rayveness and Asia Carrera. Shizaku volumes 1, 2 and 3 is expected to be released on August 1st, followed by volumes 1 and 2 of Inmu shortly after and Shizaku replay in mid August.
Other Hentai titles that NuTech will be releasing in the coming months include “Blackmail”, staring Misty Rain and Mission of Darkness.
They also told us about some collaboration going on between NuTech and Pink Pineapple (NuTech has exclusive North American rights to all Pink Pineapple titles) in order to increase the North American appeal of future titles. While we have been sworn to secrecy for the time being, we can tell you that these collaborative plans will have some very interesting results.
Regarding the titles NuTech showed us today… We Were Impressed. North American dubs of Hentai have always been known to be absolutely horrible, and most people have expressed reasonable skepticism about the ability of porn stars when it comes to voice acting. Obviously the end product will not be to everyone's taste, but objectively speaking, the quality of the dub was quite good, we were honestly surprised. Particularly during the non-sex scenes that we had a chance to view, Asia Carrera and Rayvoness sounded as if they were experienced Anime voice actresses.
Extras on these DVDs will include interviews with the voice actresses and photo galleries featuring pictures from the Anime and pictures of the actresses themselves.
While the final verdict will have to wait until we see a complete product, this very interesting development in the industry is starting to look like it is not merely a novel idea but an actual good one.
