Fanboy Entertainment is reporting that Pioneer has licensed NieA_7. Currently, however, there are no concrete plans regarding distribution or pricing. These details should be forthcoming from Pioneer in the near future.
NieA_7 was worked on by Yoshitoshi ABe, character designer for Serial Experiments Lain. NieA_7 aired on Japanese TV in 1999 and ran for 13 episodes.
The Japanese homepage for NieA_7 includes RM encodings of music from the series, as well as fanart.
