Missing from our previous post about Bandai's news at AWA were the following:
Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz will be released on VHS and DVD sometime in February, both releases will feature chromium covers, the DVD will include a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track, the 3 OVA's plus the Endless Waltz Movie.
The Original Gundam TV Series, 0083, 0080, and M.S. 08th &TEAM are all planned for DVD releases sometime next summer (2001).
As previously mentionned, Fox's VHS release of Escaflowne will come out on 7 volumes, whereas Bandai's uncut version will be on 8. Fox and Bandai will both be putting 3 episodes on each volume (except the first which will have 4), what this means is that Fox will be cutting 3 full episodes from the VHS release. Some footage from these cut episodes will be spliced into other episodes. The first episode which was cut from the original broadcast is expected to become the last episode on both the VHS and TV broadcast.
