Eromanga Sensei Gets Free Exhibit in Tokyo Anime Center
posted on by Kim Morrissy
To celebrate the impending release of the OVA on January 16, Eromanga Sensei is getting a free exhibit in the Tokyo Anime Center from January 18 to February 17. The exhibit will feature animation and setting materials from the TV series, as well as a display area for the OVA and a photo spot that recreates Sagiri's bedroom.
Although the exhibit will be free to enter, there will be original goods on sale at the venue. Visitors who spend over 3,000 yen (US$28) on goods will get a shopping bag with an original Eromanga Sensei illustration, as well as enter a draw to win a signed paper.
The Tokyo Anime Center is located in the DNP Plaza in Ichigaya. It first opened in Akihabara in 2006, but moved to its current location in 2017. It is run by the Association of Japanese Animations, an industry group consisting of 52 affiliate animation production companies.
The Eromanga Sensei television anime aired in 2017, and Aniplex of America streamed it on Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and Amazon's Anime Strike service (the latter two are now defunct). The two-episode OVA, which was originally slated for 2018, will run for a total of about 48 minutes. The title of the first episode is "Yamada Elf no Love Song" (Elf Yamada's Love Song).
