Pop Team Epic's Joker & Batman Definitely Aren't Upset

Last week, Popuko and Pipimi dressed up as Batman and the Joker for a pair of collaboration figures to promote the Batman Ninja anime film. The film's director Junpei Mizusaki suggested the idea which has since spawned a 15-second commercial where the pair recreate the "Are You Upset?" gag, but this time as Batman and The Joker. The characters are voiced by Kouichi Yamadera (Batman) and Wataru Takagi (The Joker).
The cross over goes even further, since Kamikaze Douga is the animation production company behind Batman Ninja and also was the primary animation studio behind Pop Team Epic.
The cross over's Nendoroid figures were on display at Warner Brothers Japan's booth at AnimeJapan on March 24-25. However, there are currently no plans to release the figures for purchase.
Batman Ninja will open in Japan on June 15.
