Love Live! Sunshine!! Characters Show Off Their Worldwide 'Image Girl' Dress

The Love Live! Sunshine!! "World Image Girl Election" poll held late last year paired each character with a corresponding country to make each a PR ambassador for different "regions" of the world. The highest combination of votes for each idol and region determined which member became the ambassador for each location.
The Love Live! franchise staff revealed the characters dressed in traditional or iconic clothing for their corresponding country on Thursday.
Chika Takami: Taiwan
Riko Sakurauchi: Germany
Kanan Matsuura: Australia
Dia Kurosawa: Singapore
Yō Watanabe: China
Yoshiko Tsushima: United Kingdom
Hanamaru Kunikida: Thailand
Mari Ohara: United States
Ruby Kurosawa: Korea
All new goods featuring these character designs will go on sale this summer. These designs will also appear in the English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese versions of the Love Live! School Idol Festival mobile game.
"HAPPY PARTY TRAIN," the ninth single from the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise's nine-girl idol group Aqours, sold 55,000 copies to rank #2 on Oricon's CD single chart for the April 3-9 week. The single also inspired a literal train. Aqours will promote "Happy Party Train" with a concert tour in August and September. The anime series returns for a second season this fall.
