The book includes the first half of his column "Studio Vibe" for the music magazine bmr, a chronology of Sagisu's career, and original writing on topics like Evangelion and Sagisu's father, Sōji Ushio, who drew manga in the 1950s and produced films before World War II. It is graced with a cover portrait drawn by Moyoco Anno, manga artist (Sugar Sugar Rune, Hataraki Man, Insufficient Direction) and the wife of Evangelion director Hideaki Anno.
In other Sagisu news, a Shin Godzilla vs. Evangelion Symphony, which combines two of Sagisu's soundtracks, will be performed on March 22 and 23 at the Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo.
