Tokyo Joypolis Planning Sword Art Online Attractions

The Tokyo branch of JOYPOLIS, located in the harbor district of Odaiba, is planning Sword Art Online attractions to premiere in the indoor theme park from January 21 to February 26. The "Gekijō-ban Sword Art Online -Ordinal Scale- - in JOYPOLIS Extra Stage JOYPOLIS o Kōryaku Seyo!" (Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale - in JOYPOLIS Extra Stage Capture JOYPOLIS!) collaboration event is commemorating the Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale film opening and the 20th anniversary of the Tokyo JOYPOLIS theme park.
Details are currently scarce, but park is planning both food items and entertainment. In the meantime, SD images of both Kirito and Asuna in the JOYPOLIS uniforms were released.
JOYPOLIS has previously collaborated with musical artist T.M. Revolution, Tokyo Ghoul and Attack on Titan.
The Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale anime film will open in United States theaters on March 9, 2017. Eleven Arts is distributing the film. Screenings will be in Japanese with English subtitles. The film will open in Japan on February 18 in 150 theaters.
