Chiba Baseball Team's Anime Collaboration Isn't a SNAFU
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The Chiba Lotte Marines baseball team and the My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO! anime series are pairing up for some original artwork and an event with the series' voice cast. The tie-in is one of a few recent campaigns between the series and businesses in Chiba, which is also the setting for the show.
Tickets go on sale today and include three games from June 9-11. The event will host cast members Takuya Eguchi (Hachiman Hikigaya), Saori Hayami (Yukino Yukinoshita), and Nao Tōyama (Yui Yuigahama) on June 11.
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO! previously teamed up with Chiba's tourism monorail and featured artwork of the Yukino and Yui in train conductor uniforms. Sony otaku pilgrimage Stage Tour app updated with Chiba landmarks seen in the series, so fans could ride the monorail and follow along.
Tokyo's professional baseball team, the Yomiuri Giants (Kyojin), is collaborating with Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) manga for four games this summer.
