Isayama Reveals Which Attack on Titan Characters Are the Most Popular, Plus Character Poll
posted on by Eric Stimson
In the December issue of Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, which carries Attack on Titan, series creator Hajime Isayama answered a few reader-submitted questions, including which corp member is the most popular.
Q (submitted by Denden of Saitama Prefecture): Which boy and girl in the 104th Training Corps are most popular with the opposite gender?
A: Reiner and Christa.
Q (submitted by Scarecrow of Fukuoka Prefecture): How did Conny and Sasha do in their classroom exams?
A: Let's just say no one in the corps failed them.
Q (submitted by IGNITE of Saitama Prefecture): Which character is the easiest to draw and which is the hardest?
A: Armin is the easiest and Mikasa is the hardest.
The magazine is also soliciting fan input for its annual Attack on Titan character popularity poll. The winners will be announced next month in Bessatsu's February issue, and Hajime Isayama, the manga's artist, will draw the top three characters for the cover of the magazine's May edition. Participants are free to choose any character they wish, including from among the Titans, although the magazine's December issue provides this helpful overview.
