Catch the First Four Eps of the "Diggin' in the Carts" Japanese Video Game Music Doc Series

For those who have missed it, the first four episodes of Red Bull Music Academy's six-part video game music web documentary, Diggin' in the Carts, is available streaming online. The series focuses on Japanese video game music, from the 8-Bit world to modern games, and its far-reaching effect on modern artists and music. The series will look at the works of celebrated composers like Final Fantasy's Nobuo Uematsu, Tetris and Metroid's Hirokazu “Hip” Tanaka, Streets of Rage's Yuzo Koshiro, and more.

The final two episodes will be available on October 2 and October 9.
In addition to the episodes posted on RBMA's website, their YouTube channel also has "Hidden Level" videos, which feature interviews with various artists and industry professionals about how video game music has influenced their lives and careers.
