Nippan and Sanrio to Offer Hello Kitty Standardized Test
posted on by Bamboo Dong
Think you know your Hello Kitty? Prove it... with the official Hello Kitty standardized test, which will be held this August 31 in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
Designed by Sanrio and test company Nippan, it will cover the entirety of Hello Kitty's 40-year history, and is available in two levels—Level 3 for beginners, and Level 2 for more dedicated fans. Of course, the test makers wouldn't want to throw anyone in cold; an official study guide is available from Sanrio, and covers topics like Hello Kitty, her family and friends, products, events, and more.
The test costs ¥4,320 for Level 3 and ¥5,400 for Level 2; those who really love standardized tests can even register for both for ¥8,720. Test takers who pass the test will receive certificates, though all who apply will be able to purchase limited edition merchandise. The deadline to register is July 31.
For more information, practice questions, or to register, check out the official test website.
You can also check out the official Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary website (Japanese) for all the most recent collaborations, merchandise, events, and more.
