Makoto Shinkai Draws Art for Kana Hanazawa Tour
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Director Makoto Shinkai created art for voice actress Kana Hanazawa's "25" album tour. Hanazawa recently starred as Yukino in Shinkai's latest The Garden of Words anime film and Shinkai drew three pieces of art for her brochure to return the favor.
The 52-page booklet also includes Tonari no Seki-kun and "Kanagatari" manga (Hanazawa voices the lead character in the anime adaption of Tonari no Seki-kun, and Nadeko Sengoku in the Monogatari series), and commentary on the album.
Other tour goods include t-shirts, "kanafuda" cards, towels, tote bags, pillows, "Kana-chan Secret Recipe Zeushi-kun Spyce '25' Beef Curry" mix, the "Kanabi 2" voice drama, charms, cookies, "kanadigan" (cardigans), and candy.

She just wrapped a series of "Zeushi-kun" ads for Japan's National Federation of Agricultural Co-operative Associations, too.
The "25" album went on sale in Japan on February 26.
